As most of you would already know 2 CQ families has been devastated by 2 tragic fires in as many days, one family losing 2 small children, which is just tragic.
Both 4RO & 4CC join forces to go live simultaniously aross both stations for 6 hours to raise as much money and get as much goods as possible. We will be live from the steps of Rockhampton City Hall from 12 noon tommorrow.
We have a bus that we are intending to fill to the rims with things to help these 2 families. We already have over 10 local businesses on board to support us!
The Salvation Army will be our official charity, and will be looking after all donations for the families, what we are also looking for food vouchers, money / cash, white goods, household goods (cutlery, crockery, saucepans), linens & some clothes.
