Drex was born April 16th 1979, grew up on the Sunshine Coast at Sunshine Beach & Maroochydore started in community radio in 1993 and then he got his big break at Triple J in Sydney in 1995 before working at 2TM Tamworth, FM1047 Canberra, TRIPLE M Brisbane, HOT103.1 Townsville, HOT91 & ZINC96 Sunshine Coast, HOT100 & MIX1049 Darwin, and even for 2 years hosting the drive show on Hot fm Rocky & Gladstone.

So he knows the area in fact his Uncle Merv was a cop in Gladstone for years, and still lives in town. He is a keen foodie & loves trying every restaurant in town, he collects DVD’s and his hobbies include Digital art, travelling, pub trivia, vinyl records & general stupidness
