Boys arrested after alleged crime spree

Two teenage boys have been charged following investigations into a number of property offences in Gladstone.

Police will allege the boys broke into an Agnes Street home on May 17, stealing car keys and money.

Between 11pm on Saturday, May 17 and 5am on Sunday, May 18, a business on Side Street in West Gladstone was allegedly broken into with an amount of money stolen.

Between 4pm on Sunday, May 18 and 6.30am on Monday, May 19 two motorbikes were allegedly stolen from an Ann Street address.

At approximately 4.30am on Monday, May 19 a car was allegedly entered and a wallet stolen on Friend Street in Barney Point. 

A shed at this address was also entered and two golf carts allegedly stolen.

A 14-year-old boy from South Gladstone has been charged with four counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence by break, two counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle at night in company and one count each of enter dwelling with intent by break, enter premises and commit indictable offence, and stealing of a vehicle.

He was remanded in custody and appeared before Gladstone Childrens Court last week.

A 16-year-old boy from West Gladstone has been charged with four counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence by break, two counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle at night in company, and one count each of enter premises and commit indictable offence, stealing of a vehicle, and receiving tainted property.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to reappear before Gladstone Childrens Court on June 27.
