A 25-year-old Park Avenue man has been charged after an alleged crime spree spanning nearly two months.
The man is accused of breaking into 14 businesses and restaurants across the South Rockhampton between July 18 and September 3, stealing electronic devices, cash, keys and alcohol.
It will be further alleged the man caused damage to the entrance of numerous businesses to gain entry.
He allegedly attempted to break into other businesses, but was unsuccessful.
Police were called to a sighting of the man at a Main Street hotel last week and the man was taken into custody a short time later.
The man has been charged with 16 counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence, and one count each of possessing dangerous drugs, obstruct police officer, and attempted enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence.
He has been remanded in custody and due to reappear before Rockhampton Magistrates Court on October 3.
