The rivalry between Aldi and Kmart has officially splashed into summer. Aldi has just released its Assorted Pet Pool with Sprinkler for a cool $16.99, clearly eyeing off Kmart’s viral $25 Pet Sprinkler Mat that’s been a hit with parents and pets alike.
Size versus savings
Kmart’s version is a generous 200cm in diameter, while Aldi’s comes in slightly smaller at 148.5cm. But at eight bucks cheaper, Aldi’s hoping Aussies will happily trade a little size for extra savings. Plus, it comes with a handy repair patch, and it’s perfect for when paws or tiny toes get a bit too excited.
