Rockhampton Airport has reopened after police evacuated it for several hours following a security breach.
A suspicious bag was found around 1.30pm yesterday, with the airport temporarily evacuated while officers conducted a thorough search of the premises.
All outgoing flights were suspended and incoming flights were diverted.

The bag was found to be safe and the airport has since reopened and resumed operations.
Despite the airport emergency measures there was no stopping the largest and heaviest aircraft ever built, the Antonov.
The plane was scheduled to arrive around the time of the incident and could not be diverted.
