LCD Soundsystem and Nick Murphy to tour
LCD Soundsystem will tour Australia with homegrown talent Nick Murphy (Chet Faker) in tow.
The Brooklyn dance-rock band, fronted by the enigmatic James Murphy, will be making their return Down Under in February having dominated Splendour in the Grass and several sold-out shows in Australia already this year.
This will be their biggest tour of Australia and it comes off the back of their number one album, American Dream, which they released this year after a four-year hiatus.
The band are also known for distinctive hits such as All My Friends and Daft Punk Is Playing at My House.
Melbourne's Nick Murphy, who was formerly known as Chet Faker, will be supporting the group with his own brand of future-soul.
Murphy, who releases music on the same independent label as Flume, Future Classic, won five ARIA Awards for his debut album Built On Glass.
He released a new EP, Missing Link, in May of this year and will release another album next year - the first under his real name.
