Goolburri Aboriginal Health Advancement Co. Ltd is proud to partner with the Walkabout Barber team to host a series of free Back-to-School community events at the end of the school holidays.

The events are designed to support families as they prepare for the new school term, offering a day of fun, connection and care for the whole community.

Each event will feature:

• Complimentary haircuts & beauty services
• Free food and refreshments
• Kids’ games and activities
• Cultural storytelling and celebration

Event Details:

• Chinchilla – 23 September 2025 at Botanic Gardens from 10am till 3pm
• Dalby – 24 September 2025 at George Anderson Park from 10am till 3pm
• Toowoomba – 25 September 2025 at Newtown Park from 10am till 3pm
• Warwick – 26 September 2025 at Leslie Park from 10am till 3pm

These events are about bringing our community together, celebrating culture, and making sure families are supported as kids head back to school. We want every child to feel confident and ready for the term ahead. The events are free and open to everyone, with no bookings required. Families are encouraged to come along, enjoy the day, and take part in the activities on offer.
