QCWA Calliope branch celebrate 100 years on Saturday 19th July,2025. marking a centenary of service, friendship and camaraderie.
- Their celebrations commence at 10am on Saturday 19th July, QCWA State President Tamara Stephenson is just some of the VIPs that will be attending.
- The Queensland Country Woman’s Association (QCWA) Calliope Branch is a vibrant Community origination dedicated to supporting women, children and folk in the area.
- QCWA Calliope host social community craft days, hoy games, markets days and special events throughout the year fostering community spirt and engagement.
- For the past 10 years our Monday Coffee, Chat & Craft morning have proven to be a great success with regular ladies traveling from all over the Gladstone Region to attend.
- Calliope Branch welcomes new members; we hold monthly meetings and warmly welcome women from all walks of life to join.
- QCWA is celebrating 103 years, since 1922 across Queensland’s cities, regional and remote communities’ women have been joining QCWA. For some it is in interest in making new connections and friends, knowledge sharing and learning new skills, or influencing the unique needs of their local community and ultimately, improving the lives of women and families.
