A 68-year-old taxi driver has been injured in an armed robbery at a service station in Park Avenue.
Police say the driver was fuelling up his cab on Richardson Road yesterday at 2.00am when a man threatened him with a knife and demanded his keys, before leaving on foot.
The man was injured in the incident but didn’t need hospital treatment.
The man is described as approximately 19-years-old, First Nations in appearance, with a slim build and a small plait at the back of his head.
He was wearing a grey long-sleeved shirt, a navy cap, black facemask, white Nike sneakers and dark shorts.
Investigations are ongoing and police are hoping to speak to the man in the footage below.
