Police are investigating two armed robberies which occurred recently in Gladstone.
It’s alleged on Wednesday June 28, a man was parked at a taxi rank in New Auckland when an unknown offender entered the vehicle at 1.40pm.
Officer say he threatened the driver with a knife, forcing him to hand over money and then fled in an unknown direction.
On Tuesday July 4, police say an offender entered a shop on Chapman Drive at around 4.20pm and threatened a female staff member with a knife.
The offender demanded a sum of cash from the register and then fled the scene.
Neither of the victims were physically injured.
Police are appealing for information to help locate a 17-year-old boy they believe can assist with enquiries, into the incidents.
