Two men are on the run following an attempted armed robbery at Berserker.
Police say the pair entered a Musgrave Street hotel around 3.30am yesterday, armed with a machete and a pickaxe.
They demanded cash and threatened the employee, but fled empty handed.

The employee was not physically injured and was assessed by emergency services at the scene.
Police are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage around Musgrave Street between 3am and 5am, to come forward.
Investigations are continuing.
