Byfield National Park to close temporarily

Byfield National Park and Byfield Conservation Park including 9-mile beach will be temporarily closed later this month.

QPWS rangers will be undertaking pest management control, including the use of firearms, from Sunday July 27 until Friday August 1.

For safety reasons, public access will not be allowed during this period.

The Sandy Point section of the National Park and State Forest areas including Water Park Creek, Red Rock and Upper Stoney will remain open to the public.
