Police are investigating the armed robbery of a hotel in Rockhampton overnight.
Around 11.03pm, police were called to the Musgrave Street premises at Berserker after a man entered the hotel, and threatened a 31-year-old female employee with an implement.
The man obtained an amount of money from a till in the bar area of the gaming room, before fleeing the scene in the direction of Elizabeth Park.
He’ described as having a dark complexion, 162 cm tall with a slim build wearing a black coloured T-shirt on top, with another shirt underneath, blue coloured sleeves and a blue coloured hooded garment with a white trim around the outside of the hood, dark pants, a dark coloured cap, dark shoes and dark gloves.
No one was physically injured in the incident.
