A child has been left fighting for life after getting struck by a car in Central Queensland.
It’s believed the primary school-aged boy was riding his bike along Bell Street in Biloela around 5.30pm on Thursday, when he was hit by a vehicle at the corner of Prairie Street.
Paramedics rushed to the scene where they treated the child for a serious head injury.

He was taken to Biloela Hospital in a critical condition, before being airlifted to the Queensland Children’s Hospital.
Investigations are ongoing.
Police would like to speak to any witnesses or anyone who has relevant dash-cam footage.
