Man accused of $13.5k bike theft

Investigations are continuing after a more than $13,000 worth of bicycles were stolen from Gladstone Central business.

Police say a man broke into M1 Cycles in Tank street on Sunday morning, once at 4am and again at 5:20am.

He allegedly stole a black Ampd Bros Ace Pro step thru bicycle and a black Trek Rail 8 bicycle, with a combined estimated value of around $13,500.

The man and the stolen property remains outstanding.

Police are appealing to anyone who recognises the man or vehicle in the image to come forward.
