A man has been airlifted to hospital with serious burns following a gas tank explosion, South of Gladstone.
Emergency services were called to a private property at Rodds Bay round 2.45pm yesterday, to treat the man in his 60s.
It’s believed a man had been using an angle grinder on a gas tank before it caught fire.
He suffered burns to his legs, arms and face.
He was transported by the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.
