Police have released images of a man they are seeking in relation to an attempted armed robbery at a Rockhampton service station on Sunday night
Around 8.30pm, an unknown man has entered a business on the corner of the Mobile servo on Kent Lane and Albert Street armed with a hammer and demanded cash and cigarettes from an employee.

No one was physically injured, and the man fled along Albert Street without either.
He is described as Caucasian with a solid build and approximately 175cm tall and was wearing dark clothing, including a hooded jacket and face mask.
Police are appealing to the man in the image, or anyone who may have witnessed the incident or recognise the man, to come forward.
Speaking to the media this week, Rockhampton CIB Senior Sergeant Kevin Mawdsley said police were following up for a formal statement from the alleged victim.
“Amongst all the jobs we’re juggling at the moment, something we want to do is get that formal statement to try and ascertain why the offender was unsuccessful,” Snr Sgt Mawdsley said.
Investigations are continuing.
