A 68-year-old man has been charged following the death of an elderly woman, in her North Rockhampton home.
Police were called to the Withers Street address in Kawana on Sunday July 16, where they found the 74-year-old woman dead.
Detectives from the criminal investigation branch and the homicide investigation unit set up a crime scene and began investigations.

The 68-year-old man from Kawana was charged with murder on Saturday and will appear in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court today.
It will be alleged the man and woman were known to each other.
