The Forensic Crash Unit has been called to investigate a fatal traffic crash in Bajool yesterday afternoon.
At around 2.40pm, police and emergency services were called to the Bruce Highway following reports of a three-vehicle traffic crash.
Initial investigations indicate, a white Suzuki Jimny was travelling south on the Bruce Highway when it collided with a northbound white Toyota Hilux.
A grey Toyota Hilux, also travelling north, collided with the white Hilux.
The driver of the Jimny, a 24-year-old Boyne Island man, sadly died at the scene.
The driver of the white Hilux, a 26-year-old Nundah man, and the driver of the grey Hilux, a 28-year-old Kiama, NSW man, were transported to Rockhampton Base Hospital for treatment.
It comes after a horror crash blocked the Bruce Highway at Miriam Vale earlier that day.
Emergency services responded to a single vehicle crash at Colosseum at about 7am this morning.
A man died at the scene.
Investigations into both matters are ongoing.
