A man has been killed in a single vehicle crash, south of Yeppoon.
Police say around 3.20am yesterday a vehicle was travelling along Kingsway Boulevard at Kinka Beach when it left the roadway, went down an embankment and struck a tree.
The vehicle caught alight as a result of the crash.

The driver, a 29-year-old man, died at the scene.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to contact police.
The investigation remains ongoing.
