A prisoner has been arrested after allegedly escaping custody while at Rockhampton Hospital.
The 23-year-old man is accused of attacking prison guards and a nurse before fleeing the facility around 9.10am on Saturday.
Police say they received a number of sightings from the public and searched several addresses and areas of interest over the following two days.

They arrested the 23-year-old at a Berserker unit yesterday.
He’s since been charged with two counts of serious assault corrective services officer and one count each of escape lawful custody and serious assault of public officer performing function.
The man is due to appear before Rockhampton Magistrates Court this morning.
