A Rockhampton fishing platform has been damaged in recent rain.
The weather over the past few days has caused erosion to the river bank, just down from the Fitzroy Adventure Playground.
Rockhampton Council has put barriers in place and is warning residents to stay safe and obey the signs.

The Bureau of Meteorology has reported a rainfall totals of up to 140 mm in the Fitzroy River catchment since 9am Tuesday.
Workers will assess the damage to the bank and fishing platform to determine a solution, when it is safe to do so.
