Rescue chopper attends to cow stuck in tree

The newest CapRescue crew member has had an exciting first mission, helping an animal out of an uncomfortable situation.

Ty Jackson was carrying out his training with RACQ CapRescue over the weekend, when they spotted a cow stuck in a tree.

They landed the helicopter and the new recruit moved the young cows front legs out of a split in the tree, until it was free.

An RACQ CapRescue spokesperson says the steaks were high.

“The crew were proud of the latest recruit muster-ing up the courage to wrangle this task.”
