A teenage girl has been flown to hospital from North West Island after dislocating her leg.
The RACQ CapRescue helicopter left base at 4.23pm yesterday to attend to the patient who was part of a group on school camp from South East Queensland.
She had been playing on the beach when she twisted and injured herself.
She was treated by the flight doctor and critical care paramedic, who moved her leg back into place.
The teen was then airlifted to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition.
