A teenager has been struck by a serpent at a private address in Cawarral.
Paramedics were called to the home, where a teenage boy had been bitten by a snake on the leg, at 6.15pm yesterday.
The boy was transported to the Capricorn Coast Hospital in a stable condition, for monitoring.
