A busy weekend for the region’s rescue choppers, with three missions carried out over Saturday and Sunday.
The first callout was made at 12.30pm on Saturday, where the RACQ CapRescue chopper was deployed to Stanage Bay to retrieve a man in his 60s suffering from chest pain.
The patient was stabilised before being taken to Rockhampton Hospital.
Later on Saturday, the Bundaberg-based LifeFlight Rescue chopper was sent to the Gladstone region, after a man lost control of an ATV at a motorcycle park.
His vehicle left the track and rolled around 3pm, leaving him with pelvic injuries.
The patient has been flown to Bundaberg Hospital for treatment.
The Rescue300 chopper was then called to Clark Creek Wind Farm on Sunday, to retrieve a man suffering a medical episode.
The man, in his 40s, was operating heavy machinery at the time of the incident.
He has also been airlifted to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition.
