Two men arrested in relation to a string of alleged Gladstone break-ins

Two men have been arrested, allegedly responsible for a series of break-ins around Gladstone.

Police say the break-ins date back to July 23 , when it’s alleged a 29-year-old man cut through a security fence of a Gladstone Central business and stole a number of alloy mag wheels.

It’s further alleged three other break-ins were committed at various businesses in the region in the weeks following.

On Saturday (August 19), police arrested the 29-year-old man as well as a 41-year-old man, both from Clinton.

The 29-year-old has been charged with three counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence by break.

The 41-year-old has been charged with two counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence by break and one count of possess property suspected of having been acquired for the purpose of committing a drug offence.

Investigations into the break-ins are ongoing.
