Gladstone police are calling for witnesses to come forward following the brutal assault of a Sunshine Coast man in Central Queensland.
Officers were initially called to Kirkwood Road at O’Connell on October 19, following reports of a suspicious vehicle in the area, when they located a 32-year-old Beerwah man with serious injuries.
He was taken to Gladstone Hospital, before being transferred to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for further treatment.

Detectives are appealing to anyone who travelled on or around Kirkwood Road and Glenlyon Street between 11.30pm on October 18 and 1am the following morning, who may have dashcam footage or witnessed a silver Ford Ranger, to contact police.
Investigations are ongoing.
