Share in $1.25M in Additional Grants for Round 100 of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund so calling all community groups in the Gladstone electorate. A celebratory round of grants is on offer for community groups across Queensland from the state’s Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF). Community groups in Gladstone Electorate are invited to submit their expressions of interest for a grant from this extra pool of funding, a total of $1.25 million. There will be 10 x $100,000 grants and one $250,000 grant for the community organisation with the best application in round 100. ‘I hear from community groups in the electorate how transformative the usual grants up to $35,000 through the Gambling Community Benefit Fund are for their organisation.’ ‘It would be phenomenal if a not-for-profit group in my electorate received a $250,000 grant,’ Member for Gladstone, Glenn Butcher said. ‘Our local not-for-profit community organisations are the heart and soul of XX Electorate.’ ‘These grants are a one-off opportunity to purchase items, or significant capital works that would otherwise be out of reach,’ Mr Butcher said. Mr Butcher said in addition to the ongoing quarterly grants that will be available, these special grants will help our grass-roots organisations continue to deliver vital services and long-lasting impacts to benefit the future of the Gladstone community. Community groups have until midnight August 31, 2018, to submit their expression of interest applications. Groups successful in the EOI process will then be invited to submit their application for up to $250,000. Round 100 of GCBF is to be released in 2019. Gladstone Electorate Office 49041100
