The Institute of Instrumentation Control & Automation (IICA) Technology Expo provides a one-stop shop to access equipment suppliers with the next expo being held at the Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre on July 25. The IICA Technology Expo has 30 to 40 companies showcasing their products related to the Instrumentation, Control and Automation Industry. Entry is Free, and the event is open to all, including managers, engineers, apprentices and students. Here is just a glimpse of what you can expect to see: Instrumentation (Sensors): Flow, Level, Pressure, Temperature, Water Analysis, Speed, Linear Displacement, Vibration, Weight, Torque, Ambient Air & Stack Analysis; Control: Controllers (PID & simple), Signal Conditioners (Isolators & Converters) & Transducers, Switches; Automation: PLCs, Variable Speed Drives, Servo Motors, HMI (touch screens), DCS & SCADA Systems (Distributed Control System & Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition); Other: Test & Measurement Equipment, Gauges (Pressure & Temperature), Data Loggers, Safety Systems (Switches, Guards, Process Control & Automation), Power Supplies. IICA will also be holding a registration, networking and light refreshment event at the GEA office (69 Goondoon St) on Tuesday, July 24 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
