Group snatches two toddlers from Qld home
A group of people have violently snatched two toddlers from a Sunshine Coast home.
Queensland Police say at least two women and two men took the three-year-old girl and her one-year-old brother from the Beerwah home on Tuesday morning after threatening a 31-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman.
A female at the home was struck with a metal pole and was taken to hospital with cuts to her head.
Those involved are known to police and are known to each other.
But officers have been unable to locate the kidnappers and are seeking urgent help from the public to find the children who are described as Aboriginal with slim builds.
Police say it is possible the children have been taken somewhere in the Toowoomba area, west of Brisbane.
The attackers are believed to be travelling in two vehicles, a black Holden Astra sedan with NSW registration BPS 38Q and a 2009 red Holden Commodore sedan with Queensland registration 484 VNN.
One of the alleged kidnappers is described as a 30-year-old Aboriginal woman of about 159cm tall with a slim build, while another is a 49-year-old Aboriginal woman of about 150cm tall with a solid build.
One of the men involved is described as a 17-year-old Aboriginal of about 155cm tall with a slim build.
