A man in his 50s has been airlifted after suffering a medical episode on a ship, anchored off Gladstone.
The RACQ CapRescue helicopter was called out to the bulk carrier at 12.30pm yesterday.
The man, an Indian national, had been assessed for chest pain by the ships medical staff, who decided further treatment was needed.

The helicopter carried out a winch rescue operation as it was unable to land due to the ship’s weight restrictions.
The man was treated and stabilised by the CapRescue medical team and taken to Rockhampton Hospital.
