Questions over CQ bird deaths answered

The Capricorn Conservation Council has given us answers into the deaths of multiple crows- suspected of being poisoned- earlier this month.

The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries has confirmed the crows found in Archer Street died from Organophosphate poisoning.

The group of human-made chemicals used to kill insects and mammals and are the most widely used pesticide in agriculture, homes, and gardens.

The Conservation Council says this is yet another good reason to move away from synthetic pesticides and towards natural alternatives.
