Rockhampton Mosque Open Day

The Rockhampton Mosque will host an Open Day in December.

The Islamic Society of Central Queensland (ISCQ) is inviting residents to swing by and see what they do there.

Over the past few years, the Open Day has become a significant event to promote unity and harmony by breaking down common misconceptions and stereotypes. It provides a great opportunity for non-Muslim Australians to meet local Muslims and find answers to their questions about Islam and Muslims.

At the Rockhampton Mosque Open Day, there will be different activities to enhance understanding about Islam and Muslims and build stronger community relationships through open conversations and dialogue.

Additionally, there will also be a complimentary Food Festival offering a variety of food from various countries and cultures.
