Arson charge following Rockhampton house fire
A person has been charged with arson following a blaze that "completely gutted" a West Rockhampton home.
Six fire crews were called to the scene of the Melbourne Street address just after 5:30pm on Wednesday evening, where the front room of the single-story house was ablaze.
The fire was extinguished by 6:10pm though a Queensland Fire and Emergency spokesperson said the house was "completely gutted" inside.
It was reported everyone in the home was accounted for and no one required transport to hospital.
One person was charged with arson and is expected to face court on Thursday July 30th.
