Multiple crashes around CQ overnight

It was a busy evening for paramedics across Central Queensland.

A man was taken to Gladstone Hospital with head and chest injuries after a Bruce Highway crash at Calliope at 6:02pm.

Around the same time, paramedics were called to a multi-vehicle crash on Albert and Kent Streets in Rockhampton.

Three people were assessed though only one person was taken to Rockhampton Hospital from the incident.

Later that evening, emergency crews rushed to a two car incident on Caroline Street in Allenstown.

A man in his 20s injured his head in the incident and was taken to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition after 7:45pm.
