Man flown to hospital after cow crash in CQ

A man has fractured ribs after his motorcycle crashed into a cow in central Queensland.

Paramedics, along with a rescue helicopter, rushed to the scene at Crowsdale Camboon Road in Prospect, in the Banana Shire, at 11.48pm Sunday.

A spokesperson for RACQ Lifeflight Rescue says the in his forties had been travelling on a dirt road part in the remote area, when a cow unexpectedly came into his path.

He suffered multiple injuries, including head injuries and fractured ribs, but was in a stable condition.

He was airlifted to Bundaberg Hospital for further treatment.
