Gladstone to host Domestic Violence Remembrance Day candlelight ceremony
All of us, together, is the theme of this year's Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month.
A candlelight vigil will be held in the community this Wednesday, as locals unite to take a stand against domestic violence.
This event is held annually to raise awareness of the impact of domestic and family violence to families and our community, and to honour those who have been impacted or lost their lives to domestic and family violence.
The ceremony is free to attend, and starts at 7:45am at the Avenue of Flowers, Friend Park, Barney Point.
