Teens charged in Capricornia property crime crackdown

A number of teenagers have been charged as part of a police operation in Capricornia.

Operation Bulkhead is ongoing, with investigators targeting property crime offenders across the district.

Seven teens aged from 15 to 19 have been charged recently, including a 5-eyar-old Rockhampton girl charged with five counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, two counts each of stealing and enter premises and commit indictable offence and one count each of burglary and attempted burglary.

She has appearing before Rockhampton Children’s Court.

A 15-year-old Rockhampton boy has also been charged with one count each of burglary and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

Police opposed his bail, he is expected to appear in Rockhampton Children’s Court at a later date.
